Clean-up Day

We asked and you delivered!  A month ago we asked you to help our youth organizations with volunteer hours.  Not only did you help by giving these hard-working kids volunteering opportunities, but you also lead by example!  At least 93 volunteers (students and adults) showed up Saturday, March 4th to help Build a Better Bellevue.  You brought yor tractors, skid steers, painting equipment, trucks, trailers, and most of all, your heart for these kids and our community.

There is no way we can express how humbly grateful we are.  Our town looks better, our community is stronger, and our students feel supported.  We all came together and showed our kids the importance of volunteerism...a lesson that will well serve them and their communities for the rest of their lives.

There were many tasks that were bigger than anticipated, and some projects did not get completed or done.  We will be hosting another day for our students on May 6th to focus on the projects that were not completed.  All are welcome to help!!

Below is a list of some of the names that helped our community and students.  If we happen to have left your name off, we deeply and sincerely apologize.  There were so many.  We certainly needed all and could have used more.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
