Head Girls Basketball Coach
Bellevue ISD is taking applications/resumes for Head Girls Basketball Coach/Assistant other sport(s). Bellevue is a small rural school located between Henrietta and Bowie, Texas on Hwy 287. The primary responsibility is to provide classroom instruction and coach student/athletes in sport assigned. The purpose is to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for growth while providing an opportunity to participate in extracurricular athletics.
Performance Responsibilities
● Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for subject area, and translates lesson plans into learning experiences to develop pertinent sequential assignments, challenge students, and best utilize the available time for instruction.
● Teaches knowledge and skills
● Ensures that student conduct conforms to the school's standards and school district policies, and establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
● Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
● Knowledge of a wide range of concepts in subject assigned
● Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
● Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
A history teaching field is preferred but any subject field will work.
